About Treff

Treff is a Fredericksburg native with roots that run back to the first 120 settlers of Fredericksburg. His parents Clinton C and Ella Mae Herber founded CC Herber Co., Real Estate in 1979. He grew up in the real estate industry where he gained valuable knowledge. Treff graduated from Texas A&M University in 1997 with a degree in Agribusiness and in 1999 with a Masters Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate. He gained real estate experience with Trammel Crow and Hendry Investments where he worked on projects such as the redevelopment of Kelly Air Force Base, the management and development of climate-controlled storage across the United States, and apartment complex and professional office management. He has been an actively working Real Estate Agent serving Fredericksburg and the Texas Hill Country for 20+ years. Treff has also gained valuable real estate knowledge from his wife Kerinne as she was a previous Real Estate Manager for HEB Grocery Company LP and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Real Estate for Capital Farm Credit. Together, they also run and manage several short-term rentals in the Fredericksburg area.

 

Treff and Kerinne have 5 children – Weston, Holt, Chapel, Willow, and Brazos. They are all extremely active in various sports including football, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. They are also involved in running a 60+-head cow herd as well as raising and showing pigs. Additionally, they participate in various church activities and serve the community. One of the highlights of community service is that Treff and Kerinne, along with other community members, were a driving force in founding the Fredericksburg ISD Education Foundation. Another of Treff’s biggest contributions was donating his time and service with FISD for several years to study, plan, and purchase a new site location for Fredericksburg Middle School.
